GLOW
“A JavaScript for Blockchain”
“A JavaScript for Blockchain”
So we were not satisfied with all the programming languages in the blockchain world: although they can produce decent smart contracts and powerful DApps, they are absolutely cumbersome to use and require a huge amount of experience to program safely. Indeed, one little bug can result in millions of dollars of losses, and even if a DApp is done safely, the development costs are going to be high because of the level of complexity. On top of that, driving more developers towards your blockchain isn’t easy, if they have to learn a new language each time they want to explore the possibilities of a new platform. That’s why we built Glow, a universal programming language for smart-contracts and DApps.
What other languages such as Solidity code in a hundred lines of code with bits of Javascript on top of that, Glow does it in 10x less code: a shorter code is easier to audit, hence safer, and much cheaper for the same result
We wanted to make life easier for developers and made a language that can virtually run on any blockchain.
